Rome Anthem

I haven’t seen so many Rome Anthem’s on the mountain till this year.  It seems I’m not the only one who enjoys the killer ride of the Anthem.  Once again, another amazing year!  Sorry I haven’t posted anything up for a while I was too busy shredding!

Hey ya’ll I know its been a while but we all got to get some riding in right?  So this year was the one of the best years of snowboarding I’ve ever had.  Last years Anthem ROCKED.  I shredded harder on that board than I have with any other board that I’ve tried.  Just the smoothness of the turns, the flotation on the pow,  and the predictable pop in the park, everything about it just stoked me out.  This board can seriously go everywhere!

Oh yes! I got to touch the 2008 Rome Anthem today. LOL. Seriously, I don’t have any major shops within a couple minutes of where I live. And my car has been out of order this summer. Regardless, I caught a ride and scoped all of the 2008 Rome Snowboards. And of course, my attention was focused on the 2008 Rome Anthem.

And the graphics look sick and simple this year. Yes I said graphics. I know they don’t affect the performance of a snowboard, but really, who wants an ugly board? Anyways the weight of the Anthem seems legit and I would love to get my hands on one this year. It originally wasn’t even a question, but now since my car took a dump I am tight on cash. Hopefully, my current Anthem will hold out to mid-season and maybe I can pick one up for cheap. I was also hoping to mount it with a set of Rome 390 binders, but maybe that is too much to ask. Oh well, I will remain positive.

Yes, the Rome Anthem is my weapon of choice. In fact it is the only weapon I choose when I dominate the mountain. The Anthem is the best all-mountain board on the market because it does everything so damn well.

I basically ride EVERY aspect of the mountain. Now some riders claim they ride the whole mountain, but I honestly like to do it all. I run groomers in the morning and booters in the afternoon. I like pipe and jibs. And, although it may be embarrassing to admit, I even rock the moguls.

I have ridden many other snowboards, especially in the all-mountain category. I have even rocked the Burton Custom X before. And while I have liked many of these other boards, the Rome Anthem is the board I prefer for complete mountain domination.

Day 1. Hour 1. Minute 1….

This is the first post. I had all these plans and now I set my fingers to the keyboard and I am drawing blanks. I gues they call it writer’s block. Give me a few minutes.
